THE Irish Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Panel will hold a hearing to consider the red card issued to Munster player John Hayes during the Leinster v Munster Magners League game at the RDS last Saturday. Munster were heavily defeated by Leinster on a 30-0 scoreline.
John Hayes received a red card under law 10.4 (b) for an alleged stamp on Leinster player Cian Healy in the 54th minute of the game. The hearing will take place in the Ulster Branch offices in Ravenhill, Belfast at 4.00pm on Tuesday October 6. The IRFU Panel will consist of Hugh Logan (chairman) and will be assisted by Stephen Hilditch and Neil Jackson.
The findings of the disciplinary panel will be released following the completion of the hearing.
