TRINITY Rooms, the three room party palace and Cheebah are coming together in a bank holiday love on August 2. They will welcome the very live, party rocking sound of the Disconauts live in the Clubhouse and Courtyard as the finale of an all day showcase of Limerick’s finest Soul Brothers.
A five piece whirlwind on four decks, percussion and brass,
the Disconauts have been one of the biggest hits in Trinity Rooms history and every appearance has been more memorable than the last.
Combining sexy, funky house music with immaculately timed brass and just the right level of live percussion, Disconaut’s musical pedigree is impeccable combining as it does live percussion from Mark Logan one of the most in demand drummers in Europe and the superb DJ skills of Keith and Padraig Disconaut who provide the musical foundation on which the house of Disconaut is built.
The Disconauts formula is explained by Padraic and Keith mixing great house music, featuring tunes with an African, Latin, and soulful flavor. The job of Mark on percussion, is to add new melodies, phrases and rhythms that complement the existing tune, making them better, more dynamic and exciting while Steve and Mike bring the brass with feeling!
Kicking off at 4pm with the Cheebah crew of Cait, Tarpey and Spin South West’s Peter Curtin on Deck duty all from 5pm, the BBQ will be cooking up gourmet burgers and hot dogs all day long with the finale of the Disconauts Live just as the sun sets.
