What’s all this about a 12 week blow-dry?

The 12 week blow-dry is a revolutionary treatment for taming frizzy and unruly hair. With just one treatment your hair will have a smooth sleek salon blow-dried finish everyday for up to 12 weeks.

The application takes approximately two hours and the result is an amazing transformation from wiry frizzy hair into easy-to-manage silky smooth hair.

The product contains Keratin, which is the primary protein of hair and nails; it is a natural substance which gives hair a remarkably healthy and smooth finish.

The 12 week blow-dry was recently tested by Mairead Farrell on the Ray D’Arcy show on Today FM and had women all over the country waiting anxiously to discover could it really be as good as we hoped. The mum of one, who regularly appears on RTE’s The Panel, has been singing the praises of the treatment since.

Containing no chemicals or preservatives, the treatment was put into her hair which was then allowed to dry straight. She left the treatment in her hair for two days and wasn’t allowed to tie up her hair or put it behind her ears. After the 48-hour period was up, Mairead had the treatment washed out before it was brushed and “blasted” dry. “You can run your fingers though it. It leaves your hair silky and shiny. They told me that after another three washes, it gets even better. I’m a lady who can’t stay overnight anywhere without bringing a hairdryer, three brushes, ‘liquid silk’ and velcro rollers. My bag is always stuffed with hair products. But now when I get out of the shower, I brush my hair, finger dry it, and it’s like I stepped out of the hairdressers” she told the Evening Herald recently.

The ‘botox blow-dry’ as it has been described, is a completely natural, super conditioning treatment that means you don’t have to spend ages blow-drying and straightening your hair. No need for brushes and heated rollers. Just a quick blast and you look like you’ve just stepped out of the hairdressers. If you get caught out in the rain or you’ve been swimming, all you need to do is give it a blast of a hairdryer to get it back to all its sleek glory! She reported it cost between 200 and 300 euro and that the only place in Ireland that you could get it done was Dylan Bradshaw in Dublin but I’m delighted to report that the treatment is now available at the River Hair Studio on the Dock Road in Limerick.
