Justsplit.com has opened offices and is now trading as a travel agency at 37 Roches Street.
Justsplit is headed by Hugh Lilburn known to many in Limerick from his time with Up and Go Holidays, which formed part of Executive Travel.
Jim Vaughan, owner and manager of the company which is based at Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Dublin said, “I am delighted to be able to open a Justsplit office in Limerick and expand the excellent range of travel services we are bringing to our customers in Dublin. Luckily, I was in a position to acquire a business that was part of Executive Travel and save the jobs of the excellent staff working with Up and Go Holiday – and these experienced travel executives are now the nucleus of our new Limerick office.”
Hugh Lilburn noted that business was on the up said, “We have been open for business as justsplit.com for several weeks and we are already noting a consistent increase in business. Over the years we have built up a good partnership with lots of Limerick people – and thankfully most are still in contact with us”.
Continuing, Hugh added, “The travel firm has developed a very wide range of holiday products with very competitive rates, especially for packages to Australia, New Zealand and the Far East. The full range of holidays and breaks can be viewed on our website.
Jim Vaughan the founder of the firm said that, “While the Travel Industry has experienced a considerable slowdown this year, similar to many other businesses and industries, the late booking trend appears to be gathering momentum and there are signs of a pick up as we approach the school holidays. The concern now is that reduced capacity and higher demand for low priced holidays could limit the availability considerably for the remainder of the Summer season”.
The company specialises in cruises, honeymoons and a range of tailor-made long-haul holidays.
Hugh stressed, “We try to meet the needs of each individual, group or family. We assist in planning a wide variety of family holidays, some with other providers – and we can also book flights, cars and hotels depending on the needs of the traveller. We arrange quite a lot of sports breaks, to include skiing, golf, rugby and soccer weekends. If people give us a call we will discuss their plans with them and find very good solutions at best possible value”.
