PAT MOLONEY, one of Limerick’s best known DJs, died suddenly this Monday, aged 45.
The late Mr Moloney, active in the music scene since his early twenties, had performed at Angel Lane Nightclub on Sunday.
He was also associated with a number of other nightclubs in the area, principally The Icon and Dolans.
Long-time friend James Morrissey, described Mr Moloney as a very conscientious and active person, who loved his profession.
“There was nothing about the industry that Pat did not know-he was completely dedicated to it, and all patrons of nightclubs and other places of entertainment will be deeply saddened by his passing”.
Removal from Cross’s Funeral Home on Thursday at 7.30pm to The Holy Family Parish Church. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
