LAUNCHING details of their “Friendliest Business Awards” the Limerick branch of Junior Chamber Ireland gives us details of this unique awards competition that acknowledges the contribution of Limerick’s Businesses in how they interact with their staff, customers and the community. These awards present a business with a number of benefits:
An opportunity to identify your company’s strengths in creating a friendly environment; A chance to examine your business practices; A chance for recognition and reward at the very highest level; A high level networking platform; A forum for learning and exchange of ideas; A chance to gain positive publicity for your business
JCI Limerick’s Friendliest Business Awards are open to all businesses in the Mid West Region and entrants for these awards are required to provide a written submission outlining the answers to a number of questions. Please included any additional information you feel will assist the judges in assessing your application.
The template for the written submission is available by email, fax or post from JCI Limerick Tel: 0873162251 and can be downloaded from the JCI Limerick’s website, http://www.jci.cc/local/limerick. Written submissions should be completed and returned to Junior Chamber Ireland Limerick by 5.00pm on 30th of June 2009 to PO Box 111 or email: [email protected].
The judging will be undertaken by an independent judging panel that will evaluate the entries. First, second and third finalists will be presented with an award. The top 10 finalist will be announced in the media 2 weeks prior to the awards ceremony. The Judging Panel consists of Eoghan Prendergast, Regional Manager Shannon Development (Chair), Emmeline Searson – JCI Limerick President 2009, Laura Ryan – Communications Officer, Limerick Coordination Office and Dr. Caoilfhionn Ní Bheacháin Communications, Dept. of Management and Marketing, University of Limerick.
The awards ceremony will take place on August 13 next.
