LIMERICK model agent queen Celia Holman Lee succeeded in winning the ‘Xpose Sensations Glamour Award’ at the 2009 Sensations TV Now Awards in Dublin at the weekend.
“I can’t believe it, I am so happy and overwhelmed” style guru Celia said after accepting her award. She also thanked everyone who voted for her.
This was the first year for the award,
which was launched in association with the TV3 hit show ‘Xpose’. The nominees were chosen by the Xpose team and voted for by the viewers.
There were five nominees for the honor which, featured soap stars, TV presenters, style queens and celebrities. The list included: Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh; Presenter Amanda Byram; Limerick’s own Celia Holman Lee; RTE news anchor Anne Doyle and Former model and wife of Boyzone’s Ronan, Yvonne Keating.
The awards set out to honour the best presenters and shows on Irish television. The star-studded, black-tie ceremony was held in Dublin’s Mansion House and will be Broadcast on TV3 tonight.
Other categories in the event included Favourite Irish TV Show, Ireland’s Sexiest Star, Favourite Soap Couple, and Favourite Newcomer to Irish TV.
