TWO free electronic recycling days are planned for Limerick.
The events, will take place on Friday April 17 in the car park at Rathkeale House Hotel and on Saturday April 18 in the Tesco car park at Coonagh Cross.
The measures are part of the European Recycling Platform (ERP). The new “Be Free” campaign aims to encourage people to “Be Free” of their electrical waste and used batteries.
The events are a one stop shop for all electronic recycling needs and members of the public are asked to bring along items such as TVs, washing machines, IT equipment, fridge freezers and stereos in fact anything that has, or indeed had, a battery or plug and ERP will recycle it free of charge.
Both events will run from 10am to 4pm.
