PEOPLE in Limerick who travel to the capital for work, college, sporting events, shopping or socialising are being urged to have their say on the future of travel links to the Greater Dublin Area.
Over 2,000 people have already logged on to the Dublin Transportation Office’s (DTO) www.2030vision.ie consultation website to give their views on how to improve transport in the region.
The consultation will run until Sunday, March 22.
Just two per cent of people responding to the public consultation to date, including visiting the website, sending responses by email and filling out consultation leaflets, were from outside the Greater Dublin Area[1]. 86 per cent were from Dublin, with 14 per cent of responses coming from counties Meath, Kildare and Wicklow.
