Mark this date in your diary now girls, itโs a fashion show not to be missed โ Brown Thomas Limerick is to showcase its Spring Summer 2009 collections at this yearโs season launch, due to take place on Wednesday March 11 instore. Tickets for the event are on sale in the store now priced 40 euro.
All proceeds will go to Focus Ireland which has just been announced as the Brown Thomas Limerick chosen charity of the year.
Focus Ireland marked 10 years of its work to combat homelessness in Limerick last year. In 1998 President Mary McAleese officially opened Focus Irelandโs services at Parnell Place in Limerick, which initially provided 17 homes for people who were formerly homeless and it has provided over 80 homes since then. Store Manager Liam Dwan told the Limerick Post, โFocus Ireland has supported over 300 households in Limerick through their housing and services work to directly combat and prevent poverty and we are proud to support them as our chosen charity of 2009โ.
Guests on the evening will be treated to complimentary makeovers while they sip champagne and indulge in delicious canapรฉs before they view an exclusive preview of this seasonโs spectacular collections.
Former Model and Ireland AM TV Personality, Laura Bermingham will be hosting the evening and will be on hand to offer her expertise on this seasonโs unrivalled Spring Summer 09 collections from labels such as Max Mara, Moschino Cheap & Chic, DVF and Roland Mouret and new labels to the store such as Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, Selected Femme and Elie Tahari.
