Following a review of the RBS Six Nations game between France and Ireland on Saturday last, Florian Fritz, centre for France and Stade Toulousain, has been cited by the independent Six Nations citing commissioner for allegedly making contact with the eyes or eyes area of an opponent during the game. Fritz has 14 caps for France and was a return selection for Marc Lievremont in the game against Ireland last weekend.
The player’s hearing, before an independent three-man disciplinary committee, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (11 February) in London.
