The Accountancy courses currently commencing in February 2009 include the ACCA Qualification and the ACCA Certified Accounting Technician. The ACCA Qualification is highly regarded throughout the world and enables individuals to become a Chartered Certified Accountant. This qualification will deliver professional accountants who are capable of building successful careers across all sectors, from practising in accountancy firms to the corporate, financial services and public sectors.
The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) programme leads to a vocational qualification based on national standards of competence which allows graduates to competently support the work of professional accountants, as well as business managers in all aspects of the financial sector. The role can be broadened to include staff supervision, budgeting, debt control and audit assurance.
Computer Based Examinations (CBE) are now available for ACCA F1, F2 & F3 and ACCA CAT Papers 1, 2, 3 & 4 as an alternative to the paper based examinations.
HSI Limerick Business School is an accredited CBEs centre that offers CBEs on a monthly basis throughout the year.
