COMEDIAN David O’Doherty first attempted stand up comedy in 1998. In 1999 he won Channel 4’s newcomer competition. In 2008 he won the if.comedy award for best show at the Edinburgh Fringe. He has performed in Melbourne, New York and Iceland.
He has toured with Demetri Martin and Noel Fielding. His recent TV appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2), Comedy Live Presents (Channel 4) and his own series The Modest Adventures of David O’Doherty (RTE2). He is currently writing a book about pandas and will appear in the forthcoming feature film ‘A Film With Me in It’ with his brother Mark and Dylan Moran.
