IF you have ever wondered whether an heirloom or antique in your possession is worth a bob, now is your chance to lay curiosity to rest.
You can find out what is what in terms of jewellery, collectibles and curios at The Hunt Museum on Sunday January 25.
Experts from the Irish Antique Dealers Association will be on hand in the museum to give valuations on all the items you have been wanting to know about Anticipate the knowledge and insights of two experts, presenters of the RTE programme The Dealers, Niall Mullen and George Stacpoole.
Between 12noon and 5pm they will look at items such as silver, glass, porcelain, clocks, jewellery, pictures, prints, books, coins, medals, metalwork and furniture. In fact they will look at anything you might be curious about and will give an expert opinion and valuation. If the item is too big to transport you can bring along a recent photograph. Entry is 10 euro, which covers the valuation of up to five items and profits raised will go to The Hunt Museum.
