Limerick Sinn Féin completes its local election ticket

Councillor Tom Collopy, election hopeful Tanya Dunworth, Sinn Féin TD Maurice Quinlivan and councillor Sharon Benson.

TANYA Dunworth from Thomondgate was selected to contest the upcoming local election in City North for Sinn Féin.

Running alongside councillors Sharon Benson and Tom Collopy in the Metropolitan district, Sinn Féin says that Ms Dunworth has proven herself as a hard-working party activist in the
Clancy/O’Callaghan Cumann.

Sinn Féin chairperson and director of elections, Joe Kearney, revealed that Ms Dunworth will be calling on the residents of the North ward for support in her bid to be elected to the council.

“I am thrilled to have been added to the ticket alongside Cllr Benson and Cllr Collopy for Limerick City North. I have seen first-hand the work our two councillors have achieved on the council over the last five years and I believe that getting a third candidate elected, along with our colleagues in the rest of the city and county, will help and build on this work,” she said.

“Should I be elected, I look forward to working alongside my party colleagues to implement meaningful change for the people of Limerick City and beyond.”
