Grand National winner to parade at Limerick

GRAND National winner I Am Maximus will be paraded ahead of the final of the Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Classic at Limerick Stadium on Saturday night.

Trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend, the weekend winner is owned by JP and Noreen McManus, long-standing sponsors of the Kirby, run in memory of her late parents from Crecora.

The presence of this equine star is sure to enhance what already promises to be a special occasion on the sporting calendar of 2024.

The Kirby Final itself is a real open event, one which carries a winners’ prize of €80,000.
