2015 Basketball Ireland All-Stars revealed

Players and Coaches from across all four divisions of the National League voted for the inaugural awards and the successful first pick players will be presented with their All-Stars at the National League finals in Galway this weekend.

League and Cup champions C&S UCC Demons claimed three of the five spots on the Menโ€™s Premier League All-Star team. Kyle Hosford, Colin Oโ€™Reilly and Lehmon Colbert were the clear choices for the Point Guard, Forward and Centre positions respectively. The leagueโ€™s top scorer Ricky Taylor picked up an All-Star at the three spot for Belfast Star and Conor Meany was named as All-Star off-guard for his performances with UCD Marian.

The Womenโ€™s Premier League All-Stars produced a remarkable result in the off-guard position. Both DCU Mercyโ€™s Sarah Woods and Team Montenotte Hotelโ€™s Niamh Dwyer received the exact same votes from Womenโ€™s Premier League players and coaches, resulting in a tie at the two spot. As a result, both players will be presented with All-Star awards. UL Huskiesโ€™ American Kelsey Harris nailed down the Point Guard while compatriot Caroline Stewart was named in the five spot for DCU Mercy. Team Montenotte Hotel duo Grainne Dwyer and Claire Rockall were named in the forward positions.
